work madness and fluffy guinea pig happiness, foggy mornings and last autumn leaves, natural disasters and friendly reunions, misty grey, sterling blue and cosmic purple, big bug necklaces and Мастер и Маргарита, after work delights and Cartier-Bresson, Odile or Odette?, the month of mOVEMBER and the dream of Mexico, 41th floor view of London and no more eating animals.

What are your plans for this weekend? I've not got much on my mind apart from sleeping, being lazy, having pajama coffees, hitting the Tate Modern and Design museum..

Have a good weekend and smile - you're designed to!

A mix of sun and clouds; faluröd painted houses; watching deer from the window and deer watching you back; heavy skies; magic landscapes; stony lakes and thick fairy-tale forests; birch trees, crisp air; glasshouses and lit windows; the beauty of simple things; soft pronounced 'k's; the blond and the beautiful; the things vivid, almost popping with minimalism; no stuff, no burden, no identity - very reassuring in a way; lagom and how to learn swedish in 1000 difficult lessons ; this is how I remember my first days in Sweden.

colourless green ideas which sleep furiously; please, another 5 minutes in bed in the morning; Chomsky and Bukowski; 'Eeeee Eee Eeee' and dolphins who befriend hamsters; incredible lightheadedness and cluelessness of mind; ideas which would keep me awake all night - both beautifully mundane and exquisitely troubled; caffeine nap aka 'drzemka kofeinowa'; in need of long tight hugs and so long awaited catch-me-if-you-can holidays, play upon words, shabby chic, neon turquoise jeans and 'do you katsu?' kind of a weekend when time stands still. and it’s absolutely ok.

Everyone Is In London!

39 degrees of body temperature, strangely strong literary cravings, magic autumn lights, crispy colours and colds, China buffet in China Town, boat trip at sunset, sexy voice... and almost no voice at all, the Big Smoke, yet another reunion with old friends, foggy Sunday, enjoyment of work and 'planment' of b-day ...

... and too much paperpaperpaperworkworkwork to do. But that's next week..

This week I'm going back to Gdansk for a long weekend, which is going to be so much fun!! Overexcited :) Envy me!

All things lavish and beautiful, all the torn notes and salty tears, all the rhythms of life and the rhymes, all the burning feelings, the ever impatient anticipations, the pains of pleasure, the charms of sopot nights, attention, the memory losses and cigarettes, easily distracted and frequently contradicted, the self destruction theories, mad to live, mad to talk, desirous of everything at the same time, all the conversations with strange people, the sunrise at the beach, the redbull insomnia, the naked and famous, the warmths of nights, the nights of warmths, the serious conversations.. and the 2nd first time...

The bright greens of trees and the bloomy whites; fresh leaves and grass all around; the sun and the still chilly wind; the warmth - inside and out; smells from childhood; the chemistry; reactions and emotions; the vibes; hormones; bumping hearts; crazy heart beats; blushes; endorphins... the spring is all to blame; it makes me feel like I'm on drugs :)

knee obsessions and first steps; really hating weddings; regrowing muscles; Jacek & Damian; 'Meditations In An Emergency'; broken plans; visual fetish.. - mmmm...; present you'll never get; pleasant blurriness and colour temperatures; loneliness is palpable; first grass; guineas with runny noses; getting carried away by the wind; death of a friend; raindrops on the window; numb happiness broken by the news; any feelings are good feelings; longing to get away; closed doors; Greek wine the day before; what's the definition of cynical?; the ice country - finally!; he always wanted to be the first in everything...

One of these months:

8hr train ride, Eastern Poland with all the local food, 'Pulp' is here this summer, deers and foxes in the snow, -23C, no more direct flights to Iceland, cheese cake without cheese, 'Somewhere' by Coppola, the electric-blue mazda3, working from home, freezing nose, thoughts of going around Iceland in June, not looking forward to hospital, too much caffeine, Hringvegur, any good movie to watch?, looking for things which make sense at work and not finding them, potato pancakes, Clocky,

...Perchance To Dream

One of these days:

tiled operating room with a black clock; liked the deep turquoise color of the sheets; electrodes stuck to the chest; beep...beep...beep...; spinal injections; ticklish toes; no feeling in legs; docs discussing winter sea swimming ('- does it bother you? - no'); arthroscope with a screen ('- can you see well?'); assistant solving crosswords; my knee from inside - white and cotton candy like; mechanical cutter sounds; cutter - a little animal eating its way into my tissue; bone drilling vibrations; weird feeling; no smell; (man, the power these guys need to have, they must feel really tired after operating); seeing my new ACL being pulled through the bone by a violet thread; why violet? i think the screen was b&w...; doc showing me the long white screw; lots of hard hammering and pulling; '- Finished!'; the stitches work and the burning feeling on my skin; ... I'm out of the green room.

One of these nights:

hospital pain-killer dreams; nurses reluctant to disclose the name of the stuff they inject you with (like why? so that you don't get it yourself to get high in the future? :)); i insist; 'tramadol - i so like what it does to you'; warmth and calmness; your exploding knee takes off and flies far far away; you are half awake, yet dreaming; dreaming with your eyes wide open; seeing yourself in bed from above and waiving at yourself; visiting home of your friend from kinder garden to help her with her English homework (you are not in touch for a million years); walking loads straight after the op. and super angry at yourself for that,'cause you're not yet allowed to; open your eyes; old ladies making you eat and complaining about you not doing so; nurses bringing you night fixes; tramadol + a sleeping pill - and you are gone to better places for some 10 hrs; literally your dreams are tasting sweet; all you wanna do is sleep and see stuff; sleeping day and night, for weeks; *** pain; getting home and not being able to sleep; see yourself getting rid of one of your legs and couldn't wait till the other is taken - just so that you could fall asleep; no more syringes available; stuck with insomnia.

Here 'N There, This 'N That

Seems just minutes ago..

snow behind the window, the Knife cutting through the speakers, soft pajamas, coffees with Dutch waffles, really gotta take a bath, lots of stuff on my mind, laziness but lots to do, another week has passed, the theatre, The Damned, and its full frontal scenes, ..need to go to the theatre more often, strawberry tea, Mon Balzac, no smoking in the smoking zone, live music, double buss and trumpet, the warmth of being with friends, shyness all over the place, ..broken vein, numbness and blood sampling.

Seems just hours ago..

beautiful Ursaab, which could persuade me to drive again, (why are the Swedes so good at design?), Black Swan - no, this is not what passion looks like, neither does a good movie, thick taste of malbec late in the night, flash-backs, going to ballet every second week during student years, Swan Lake ballet back in Minsk, the grandeur, Bo Concept Japanese dolls, night at a blues club, (does beer go well with blues?), raspy blues voice, Tortilla's in town, make-up sex, exotic fruit drinks, exotic fruit discussions, team night out, crowded smoky clubbing, and we should completely ignore Feb, 14.

INEVITABLE

growing up, falling in love, making mistakes, wanting to have it all and not having it all, getting older... and admitting that in spite of all this life is wonderful!
