Absurdism is a philosophy stating that the efforts of humanity to find inherent meaning in the universe will ultimately fail (and hence are absurd), because no such meaning exists, at least in relation to the individual.

Don't you think life would be so much more fun if it's taken less seriously by some? After coming back to work today after the break I'm in the mood of re-reading 'The Nose'. Has anyone read it? It's a classic example of absurdism to me. Which one of the above (if any) appeals most to you? :)
