Yesterday evening when I looked out of my window I almost couldn't believe my eyes - everything suddenly turned white all around and little snow flakes were peacefully landing on the balcony. It's the first snow in London this winter. The lawn in front of our building is now full of people having fun in the snow :).

Yesterday it was magic and today it started to melt away, so I am pretty comfy here watching this from the inside of my warm flat with a cup of hot liquid in my hand.

It's going to be -30 this week at home - now that is a real adventure. Oh, and it reminded me of this - still very funny! :)

I guess the view from your balcony must even more beautiful now. I know you were missing snow and it looks the perfect color to frame the Winter season. We don't have it in Lisbon, only some small spots in the interior.

Did you know that all of these climate changes may be connected with the last volcanic activities? I've posted about it (in my Earth blog). Scientists say that the last "Little Ice Age" - which occurred between (1200-1600) - may have its origin on heavy volcanic eruptions occurred in the Tropics, which are repeating nowadays. Maybe we are climbing to some sort of Icy New Era :) The truth is that there's no doubt that climate is changing. LY TI

Yes, that seems to be true, although so many are trying to question this at the moment, but to me there's really little doubt left that the climate is changing.. In terms of the Ice Age it's harder to believe - most probably because I'm spending more time in the warmer countries now.. and also because i guess I would prefer it to be the other way round - the Warm Age... :). Although that will make it more dangerous - with all the storms and hurricanes...

Gracias, Insomniamental...
