Red. AGAIN.

It's startling to step straight from Gdañsk's historic main street into this very modern café-bar, dominated by bright red panels, a suspended ceiling and boxy lighting. The scarlet décor contrasts with its comfy brown armchairs, from which you can sip well-made coffee.. I think I won't lie if I say that Cafe Ferber inspired me to paint the walls red in my apartment..

Red colour goes so well with soft lightning, transparent plastic furniture, big windows, chill out music, and everything else in this cafe - really. We had really very time here with my old university friend Lena, who visited on one of the gray weekends a while ago. Truly comfy, warm and cosy memories...

Love this old cafè! It's something I missed living in Italy : Italians make coffee as anyone in the world; the problem is that everything happens all of a sudden: you got into the bar, standing by the counter a cup of coffee "espresso" (like the train!) got in front of you, you gulp it in two sips, and that's all! (more than "espresso" I should call "High speed")lol
Yes, I miss so Buenos Aires's cafès, where you could sit for hours with a cup of coffee and a pile of books... Oh, la nostalgia!
Have a nice day, my dear!

Oh dear! Juanita's comment made me laugh a lot, as it's all so true!
Despite red symbolizes energy and speedness, the cafè you showed us looks so relaxing

The relaxed atmosphere and the scarlet décor in contrast with those lazy brown armchairs appeal to a visit after work. I love this calm places with colour that seem to fight our stressy life. It’s interesting that I see people reading books and newspapers which gives that mix look between a café and a pub. It’s really nice and you can put it on your “things to visit” list when we come to Gdansk. I'm sure I'll love it. For the tranquility, it reminded me a restaurant in Lisbon where I went this week. It’s completely white with some private rooms for groups, a small garden in the back with a vintage decoration. I’m planning to take you there next Summer. I’m sure you will love it. (Are you better? Hope very much so.) Kisses TI
