@ Juanita: I've only been their in the summer and autumn and it was perfect :) spring might be best though, as not so hot ;)

It's so funny Olga, some of these picture I saw you shooting them, so when I'm looking at them I'm also remembering the place and the facts around them. Azulejos are really part of our culture and they can be found, as you said, everywhere: from palaces to subway stations, from kitchens to courtyards. Some of them (like the first) are very common in palaces from the 18 century. Next Summer I’ll take you to that Palace near Lisbon where we didn’t have time to go – Queluz – I’m sure you will love it…and we’ll have dinner there. They have an exquisite cuisine and we deserve a special night, just the 4 of us! You’ll both love it, you’ll see! HUGS TI
