Milano

Visiting Milan was a part of our ski trip this month. Pity, my leg didn't allow me to savor all the experience... I might have not enjoyed the city in full, but I'm sure that's just my leg talking. I guess I will have to come back some day, because I'm sure it is totally worth it.

A placard which attracted attention...

Best lunch we had during our stay in Italy this time - prosciutto, cheese, olives, fresh crispy bread, refreshing Lambrusco - very simple but extremely savoury and immensely enjoyed (so much better than that offered in the hotel..)

I was in Milan for barely a day and a half last year and it absolutely made an impression on me too. I have to go back! Its so funny how their McDonalds looks equally as posh & stylishly designed as Prada, fantastic observation!

Thanks for your sweet comments:)

Olga,
First of all I sincerely hope you are better. How are you doing? Your pictures are beautiful and they give us the impression of a very interesting city. I love Italy. Is one of my favourite countries. There's always so much to see and holidays are always too short for countries where we can submerge on museums and see all of those famous paintings and sculptures we long to see. I’ve never been in Milan but it surely looks worthwhile visiting. It’s so funny your meal…I bet it was tasty. I love Mediterranean food and when Zé and I did our Inter-Rails (when we were 20) we did so many meals like that :). Sometimes they taste even better than in a fine restaurant because of the relaxing moments they provide and the excelent memories they leave us. Hugs, TI
