COLOURS OF BURANO

Somewhere far far away (or maybe actually not that far away for some of you) there is a small island famous for the colours of its houses. The legend says it all started with people who wanted to stand out from their neighbours and chose a different colour for their house. The island looks more than amazing these days...

I'm Bored... So Reading a Lot And Watching Movies...

Can you fall in love with a book? Apparently I can. I have just read and re-read 'The Dreamers' (yes, I do have time for that now during my sick-leave...)

And 'La Teta Asustada'.. - watch it for the sake of quechua, Peruvian scenery and reality, Latin American twist - and oh, yeah - all those awful unbelievable weddings!!

Blah Blah..

TODAY I...

*feel totally uninspired
*want to write about something outrageously interesting but all seems to be boring
*'m enjoying old hits on the radio (God, am I getting old?)
*combine blogging with a bit of limoncello (is it too dangerous..?)
*dream about new places and destinations (always)
*'m feeling good and actually enjoying it all

LE LOVE

i want to wear your shirts and watch movies with you until sunrise. i want to share an ice cream with you and hold your hand as we walk down the shore. i want to decorate a christmas tree with you and have snowball fights and drink hot chocolate you make when it gets cold outside. i want to kiss you in the rain and watch series every night together like an old couple. i want to watch the stars and the sunrise with you and travel around this beautiful world.

20 NIGHTS OF SUMMER

...God, I miss summer so much with the sun and sizzling days but mostly HOT summer nights...

with the sea breezes, moonlights, sleeping with windows wide open, taking cold showers, not having to wear much clothes, bare feet, night swims, drinking wine on the beach, having your skin all salty after the sea, opening your eyes under water, looking at the stars...

CHOICES...

Images by Olga from the magical Casa Batllo

I think I am lucky to live in the time when choices are pretty much endless. There are few limitations and even less rules. I guess I could become anything I want in life as long as I'd really want it - a photographer, a designer, a big boss, a house wife, an engineer ... , ... But is it possible that having so many choices prevents us from making one? That is if we finally choose something - another option goes away. So I just can't stop thinking whether we really live in the time when we can't choose just one thing anymore.. Or is it just me?

(... Or is this aboulia :P )

I wonder whether I would write differently if I knew people who know me well read my blog...

BæDTIME

In bed these days, getting bored and restless... had previously thought higher of my pain threshold. Trying out some new tricks with the blog here and there - bigger pics and ink spot links (what do you think?)

Have a happy one!

Here is the Banksy bunny for you from The Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill, one of his recent projects. If you are in New York - this is definitely a place to see.

Thank you all for dropping by and following. Just got back home after 5 days in the hospital where I had an operation on my knee. In pain.

Back soon.

P.S. please be careful when you ski
