black & white, crazy and calm, bold and careful - how can these 2 little creatures be so different?

funny, fluffy, loud, best friends, so innocent and so amazing - mad about any food in green colour...

Can they BE any cuter? :)

COMFORT ZONE AND ONE OF THE HARDEST WORDS TO TRANSLATE

Photobucket

About comfort zone it is so true, and so very much about me... It is too easy to remain within our comfort zone and it is so uncomfortable to 'force' yourself to do something that will pay off in the end... but will require some real effort. I think one always needs to walk 'up the hill', otherwise - does life make much sense?

As for MAMIHLAPINATAPAI... Have you ever had such a feeling?? :)))

LIGHTS, MESSY BAG, MATRIOSHKAS

i'm enjoying: winter light, edgar poe, zucchini, bonobo, fried bananas, layers, minimalism, fruit cake, skating
i am puzzled by: genius, people getting married, why my bag is so messy, pursuit of power - and life itself...

HOW CAN YOU SLEEP AT A TIME LIKE THIS? :)

I haven't yet slept since yesterday - instead I spent the whole night watching online live men's figure skating Olympics competition. It's incredible! Figure skating has been my favourite sport since I was a child (but to my shame I'm a better skier than skater). Isn't it the most beautiful, but also emotional and even dramatic sport? Totally worth spending a sleepless night ;) And I don't even feel tired. Lysacek's performance has been so impeccable and powerful! And Plushenko... well, he will always remain the figure skating genius - the one and only in his time.

Is anyone else also watching? :)

WINTERDREAM

skating, baltic sea, birds

Some images taken over the weekend.. Knees still hurt after falling down (but totally worth it). It seems from the images we here live in Antarctica. That is not so, still I very much pity the birds in the frozen sea - very hard time for them this winter.

Today

Images by Denis Allbertovich

Do you like Mondays? I think I get too relaxed during weekends, then it is too hard to discipline myself back into the working schedule.

Can we only appreciate weekends that much just because of the fact we are busy the rest of the week? Would weekends be equally great if we were not working at all? Probably not :)

Feelings...

there are some feelings that feel you up
that dig their roots into your skin
and never let go
they swell
and blow you over
like wind and waves

In Memory of J.D. Salinger...

This was one of my favourite books when I was a kid...

Updated: I think Holden exists in each of us in some way. A person who is lost, is looking for meaning, searching for oneself, for the truth and realizing that most things aren’t what they seem, wanting to be alone but feeling lonely, seeming to understand everything one day and then understanding that things are completely different and you don't know anything the next...

What do you think about this book?

'Anyway, I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids, and nobody's around - nobody big, I mean - except me. And I'm standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff - I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it's crazy, but that's the only thing I'd really like to be.'
